Junior Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Leicester area, who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their CAD team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings with the use of Solidworks & AutoCAD.
Position Overview
- Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Solidworks & AutoCAD, including manufacturing, layout and DG&T drawings.
- Converting sketches and project instructions into 3D CAD models.
- Producing Bill of Materials.
- Support production teams with drawing updates and certification.
Position Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject.
- Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks.
- Experience / knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Based in a commutable distance of Leicester.
Position Remuneration
£28,000 - £32,000
Monday-Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
Holiday allowance and pension.
