Lead Designer

Lead Designer required for my client based in the EC1M postcode of central London, who work within the design and build sector, working on large format graphics, signage and acoustics predominantly.

The successful designer will join the London team and report directly to the design director. They will be joining the project team along with 3 other designers, working on graphic prints, signages and other design elements within the client’s market.

Lead Designer Job Overview

• Create artwork from a concept or clients supplied files / instructions.
• Follow the clients brand guidelines or design requirements and ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for production – according to the specifications.
• Ensure artwork interpretation is achievable within production constraints.
• Prepare accurate artwork from the approved design and brief.
• Responsibility for ensuring account / project managers are kept informed of the progress of jobs they are working on and any impact on the production plans.

Lead Designer Job Requirements

• Degree qualified within a design / design engineering subject.
• Previous work experience within design skills and a design environment is desirable.
• Experience of large format graphics, signage and acoustics is desirable.
• Based within a commutable distance of the EC1M postcode of London.

Lead Designer Salary & Benefits

• Salary – 35,000 to 40,000 – dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
• Full time position – Monday to Friday.
