Job Overview:
As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical building services projects across a range of sectors and design stages. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will assist in producing compliant and efficient designs covering lighting, power, fire alarms, data, containment, and security systems. The role will provide excellent exposure to all stages of project delivery, from concept through to construction, with ongoing mentoring and training provided.
Job Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Placement year or previous experience within a building services consultancy beneficial
- Basic understanding of BS 7671, Building Regulations, and electrical design principles
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit advantageous
- Strong willingness to learn and develop within the building services sector
- Good communication skills with the ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to manage workloads and meet project deadlines
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available
