Overview

Our client, a specialist air conditioning and refrigeration contractor with multiple offices around the UK, is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their growing team. The HVAC Manager will be based within commutable distance to Caerphilly, covering air conditioning, refrigeration and chiller projects around the South Wales area.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to client enquiries
  • Forming strong relationships with clients
  • Undertaking survey visits
  • Establishing and quoting solutions
  • Managing the setup of each project and handing over to the installation team
  • Solving any issues that the installers may face during the projects
  • Keeping the client updated
  • Playing part of the handover at the end of a project
  • Being responsible for the post-project documentation

Project Details

The Project Manager will manage a range of AC, refrigeration and chiller projects, with values ranging from £5,000 to £2m. Typical works include the installation and replacement of VRV, VRF, split systems, multi-splits, and AHUs. It is seen that the Project Manager will generally be based out on site, with scope to work from the office in Caerphilly or from home if required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a project manager within the HVAC sector, specifically air conditioning, refrigeration and chillers
  • Technical knowledge within the HVAC sector
  • Based within commutable distance of Caerphilly
  • Full UK Driving license

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary £50,000-£55,000 DOE

  • Company Car or Car Allowance available
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Bonus scheme (to be discussed at initial teams interview if successful)
