Overview

HVAC Engineer required in the Midlands area for our client, a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices that has been expanding for over 20 years. They offer a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base includes long-standing relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison and more.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain, fault find and repair HVAC equipment.
  • Work as part of a field-based team to meet client requirements and project deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide high-quality service and support to clients to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (not essential).
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair.
  • Live in the Midlands.

Salary and Benefits

  • Basic Salary up to Β£42,000 DOE.
  • Company Van – optional personal use of the vehicle.
  • Profit share scheme after 12 months’ service – up to Β£3,600 tax free.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x.
  • 40 hour working week; travel paid after 30 minutes each way.
  • On-call allowance (1 in 4/5, Β£1,200 guaranteed – travel paid door to door when called).
  • Pension.
  • Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays; increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
  • Company uniform, phone & PDA.
