An experienced Service Desk Supervisor is required for a well-established M&E Contractor with over 40 years in the industry. This role is based at the company's head office in Hemel Hempstead, with occasional travel to Romford or Holborn for training or meetings.

The Service Desk Supervisor will oversee two direct reports and coordinate the planning and scheduling of work for approximately 20 engineers, working closely with the Service Manager. The Maternity Service Desk Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, service delivery, and effective communication with both customers and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing planned maintenance
  • Reactive works
  • Accurate reporting
  • Updates to the CAFM system

The role is central to supporting safety, quality, and compliance while driving team collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in service performance. This is a 6-month contract.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch
  • 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • 4% of the Employee's basic salary

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing/Supervising a team of service coordinators
  • Skillset in liaising with clients and able to offer contract support
  • Live within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead
  • Hold a full and clean UK Driving License
  • Proven background in a busy service desk
  • Beneficial to have worked with M&E engineers/clients
