Quality Inspector required for a precision engineering company based in Havant, specialising in the subcontract manufacture of high-accuracy components and assemblies for demanding industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, and underwater sectors.
Quality Inspector Position Overview
- Perform routine mechanical and visual inspection of parts (pre- and post-treatment), including first-off inspections.
- Working within an AS9100-compliant quality management system to deliver robust components on time and with excellent precision.
- Inspect using manual measuring methods and CMM where required.
- Prepare and issue customer-required paperwork, including First Article Inspection Reports, SCARs, NCRs and other documentation as specified.
- Submit quality documentation through customer portals accurately and on time.
