CNC Miller required for a well-established and highly specialised precision engineering manufacturer supplying bespoke components into the packaging, converting and print industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines
  • Online programming using Hurco controls
  • Manufacturing precision engineered components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
  • Measuring dimensions and tolerances using Micrometres, Verniers and Callipers
  • Accurately recording manufacturing times using ERP terminals
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping throughout the workshop

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years previous experience Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Mills
  • Experience with Hurco controls advantageous, Fanuc experience transferable
  • Strong understanding of online programming
  • Experience working on 3-axis CNC Milling machines
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
