Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading and fast-growing global procurement and supply chain specialist. Seeking a proactive and organised Freight Logistics Coordinator to join the team out of their Southampton Office.
Job Overview
- Coordinate both import and export shipments via air, sea, and courier services for international customers
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with freight partners and negotiate competitive transport rates
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping paperwork, documentation, and package labelling
- Issue shipment notifications and progress updates to clients in a timely manner
- Organise the collection and dispatch of goods from global suppliers and distribution points
- Monitor shipment progress, ensuring on-time delivery and providing accurate status updates to customers
Job Requirements
- Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in logistics, freight, or a related supply chain role.
- Familiarity with international shipping, import/export processes, and basic freight operations.
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to develop a career in logistics, with opportunities for progression
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently while supporting a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
