With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering technically challenging schemes, this contractor continues to grow while maintaining a people-first culture focused on long-term development and progression.
Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a Graduate Contracts Manager to join their team based on a flagship infrastructure project in Havant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate looking to build a long-term career within civil engineering and project delivery, gaining exposure to commercial management, programme coordination, subcontractor management and operational delivery on complex projects.

Job Overview
- Supporting the Contracts and Project Management teams across major civil engineering projects
- Assisting with programme monitoring, project coordination and reporting
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
- Supporting commercial and contractual processes across live projects
- Monitoring project documentation, progress and compliance requirements
- Assisting with procurement activities and subcontractor coordination
- Supporting project reviews and operational meetings
- Developing an understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
- Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme constraints
- Working closely with senior leadership to gain broad operational exposure
Job Requirements
- Degree qualified within Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and business-minded approach
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambitious and eager to develop a long-term career within Contracts Management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous placement, internship or construction industry exposure advantageous
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
