Coded Welder required. My client is an independent steam specialist offering Boiler repair, Installation, Troubleshooting and Inspection solutions for everything from a passing valve to a complete turnkey boiler house installation. They are looking to recruit an experienced Coded Welder to join their team in Halesowen.

The ideal candidate will come from a Welding and Fabrication background, have experience with Boilers and Valves, will be highly proficient with Stick Welding and will be based locally to Halesowen with a full UK Driving licence.

Coded Welder Position Overview
  • Retubing of Boilers
  • Cutting out and completing D-patch repairs
  • Tube plate replacement
  • Coded welding of pipework / vessels
  • Welding is predominately carbon steel MMA using low hydrogen electrodes
  • Travelling to customer sites as required
Coded Welder Position Requirements
  • Previous welding experience is essential
  • Must hold a recognised qualification in Welding
  • Highly proficient with Stick Welding
  • Able to understand Welding diagrams
  • Experience working with Boilers and Valves
  • Based within a commutable distance of Halesowen
  • Full Driving Licence
Coded Welder Position Remuneration
  • Salary £20.00 - £22.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 16:00
  • Overtime paid at time and a half for the first 4 hours and double time after this
  • Saturday work paid at time and a half and Sunday work paid at double time
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Pension
