We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established Civil Engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and flood defence projects. Early Finish Every Friday Genuine Career Progression within a growing Civil Engineering Contractor.Site Agent Job Requirements HNC/HND or BEng qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. CSCS Card and SMSTS certification. Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts. Previous experience delivering civil engineering projects, ideally including flood defence schemes. Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project programmes. Knowledge of construction methodologies and temporary works. Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Full UK Driving Licence. TWC, First Aid at Work, SEATS and/or EUSR certifications would be advantageous.Site Agent Job Responsibilities Manage site teams, operatives and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Produce and implement method statements, risk assessments and project management plans. Monitor project costs against tender allowances and agreed budgets. Prepare, manage and update project programmes. Procure, assess and manage subcontractors throughout project delivery. Coordinate design activities between internal teams and external consultants. Administer NEC contracts and manage contractual change. Ensure projects are completed on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and local communities.
