Bennett and Game are partnering with an established Freight Forwarder who are actively looking for a skilled Freight Sales professional to join their expanding and successful team in Tilbury. Our client has over 50 years heritage and offer specialist solutions across Air, Ocean, Road and Rail freight solutions worldwide. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager or Sales Executive.
Freight Sales Executive Position Overview:
- Identify and source new business opportunities, leveraging your own leads and those provided by the Sales and Operations teams.
- Develop new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight, for both imports and exports.
- Operate flexibly, with responsibilities both in-office and in the field.
- Prepare accurate quotations and liaise with internal departments to see this through.
Freight Sales Executive Requirements:
- Proven ability in a sales or commercial role within Freight Imports is essential.
- Knowledge of both Air and Ocean freight markets is desirable.
- Strong industry knowledge of key customers, sales route to market etc.
- Negotiation skills are essential.
Freight Sales Executive Salary & Package:
- Salary £32-37.5k base salary.
- Up to 10% commission (based off GP).
- Monday - Friday (9-5).
- Competitive Holiday & Pension scheme.
- Excellent progression opportunities.
