Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Engineer to join their team, covering the North West region. This hands-on role involves providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of material-handling equipment. You\βll play a key part in ensuring customers\β operations run smoothly with safe, reliable, and efficient machinery.
Job Overview
Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of various forklift trucks and material-handling equipment
Work both independently and as part of a supportive team to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency
Split between workshop and field-based duties, supporting a diverse customer base across multiple industries
Role Requirements
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts or similar material-handling equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Salary & Benefits
Β£30,000 β Β£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-15:30
Company van and fuel card provided
28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
