We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established commercial electrical contractor who due to significant growth in recent times now have a need for another Electrical Contracts Manager to join the team.
Job Overview
- Overseeing a small team of Electricians, both employed and subcontracted labour to deliver electrical refurbishment projects within a range of commercial sectors including leisure and hospitality.
- Being the point of contact for clients from the initial conception stage of the project to the final handover.
- Attending weekly progress meetings with the office team to provide clear updates on the projects.
- Acting as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for the contracts you manage, including signing off engineers' electrical testing certifications and taking part in NICEIC inspections.
Job Requirements
- Strong commercial electrical contracts background, with experience directly within leisure and/or hospitality projects highly desirable.
- Qualified Electrician, holding NVQ Level 3 Electrical, AM2, 18th Edition, and 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalents).
- Previous experience managing teams of electricians, both on-site and remotely.
- Based within a commutable distance of Bedford, with a full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: £55,000 per annum.
- Company vehicle or car allowance (flexible).
- Hybrid working, split between home, site, and office visits.
- Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
