Our client, a growing distribution company, is actively looking for a proactive, hands-on Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock management, order fulfilment, goods in and out, and process improvement.

Job Overview
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate with other teams and external partners for smooth logistics and stock flow.
  • Monitor performance using relevant systems and tools.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a small team to ensure productivity, safety, and collaboration.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Technical skills including pivot steer forklift operation certification and accurate stock handling.
Salary & Benefits
  • £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable for an exceptional candidate)
  • Profit-share bonus
  • Full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday, 8-5)
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Earn an extra day of holiday each year of service (up to 5 additional days)
