Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Fitter to join a well-established company specialising in architectural metalwork. This role involves the installation of high-quality structural and decorative steelwork across sites in Dublin. The successful candidate will work as part of a team installing feature staircases, balustrades, railings, and escape stairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 5:30am departure from workshop (Newry) 5:30pm return to workshop

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of architectural metalwork including:
    • Feature staircases
    • Escape stairs
    • Railings and balustrades
  • Working from engineering drawings to complete on-site installations
  • Ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards
  • Working collaboratively with the site team to meet project deadlines
  • Handling and fitting mild steel and stainless steel components
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in architectural metalwork fitting
  • Proven experience installing:
    • Feature staircases
    • Escape stairs
    • Railings and balustrades
  • Experience working with:
    • Mild steel
    • Stainless steel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
  • Experience working on-site as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
