Position: Drainage Engineer

Location: Regional – accepting candidates from Surrey, Kent, & Sussex

Salary: Β£35,000 – Β£40,000

Drainage Engineer Job Overview

  • Taking on reactive jobs from the operations centre and travelling to sites across Surrey, Kent, & Sussex (depending on where you\’re located)
  • Assessing customer\’s drainage issues on site and then completing necessary works to unblock drainage systems, using jetting equipment and drain surveying equipment
  • Recommending additional drainage maintenance work where necessary (Commission paid for successful jobs brought on)

Drainage Engineer Job Requirements

  • Strong reactive drainage background and confident in completing internal and external drainage unblocks using jetting equipment
  • Ideally confident in completing drainage CCTV camera surveys
  • Based within the CR, TN, BN, or RH postcode areas
  • Currently hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Confident and knowledgeable enough in drainage to recommend and upsell additional maintenance services

Drainage Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary Β£35k – Β£40k, negotiable depending on experience
  • Company van provided
  • Door to door travel paid
  • Significant commission paid – 10% paid on works brought on
  • 29 days holiday (including bank holidays), rising by 1 day per year of tenure
  • Working hours: 7am – 5pm (50 hours guaranteed per week)
  • Saturday work involved, paid at an extra rate
