Graduate Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of specialist machinery and equipment based in Nottingham. Due to the ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Design Engineer to complete designs for manufacture and layout drawings with the use of Solidedge 3D modelling software.
Position Overview
- Preparing manufacturing drawings of approved designs, including sheet metal drawings, weldments and assembly drawings.
- Complying with company health and safety standards.
- Carrying out modifications of products for submitting tenders and quotations.
- Completing 2D layout drawings either from customer drawings or site survey information.
- Providing sales and support assistance.
Position Requirements
- Proficient with 3D CAD software, Solidedge is ideal however similar 3D modelling packages will be considered.
- Degree qualified within the Engineering / Manufacturing industries.
- Experience within sheet metal fabrication is desirable.
- Based in a commutable distance of Nottingham.
Position Remuneration
- Salary £26,500 PA.
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
- 20 Days Holiday allowance, plus bank holidays. Increasing with tenure.
- Death in Service benefit.
- Practical training.
