A new opportunity has arisen within a highly modernised and forward thinking Accountancy Practice, for a Trainee Accountant. Growth is at the heart of this practice, for clients, their business, and employees.
This role is suitable for someone with a small amount of Accountancy Practice experience, or a recent graduate, or accountancy qualification. In this role you will play an important part in supporting the senior accounts team in carrying out essential duties, all whilst learning valuable skills within accountancy.
Junior Accountant Job Responsibilities- Assist in preparing financial reports, including statutory, management, and charitable trust accounts.
- Support the preparation of tax returns for self-assessment, corporation, and partnership tax.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and positive interactions.
- Provide timely and accurate financial advice to clients, consulting with senior accountants when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards while delivering all tasks on time and within budget.
- All employees take responsibility for maximising revenue, cost saving and expenditure.
- Desire to complete ACCA/ACA or other qualification.
- Keen attitude to learning and growing your knowledge.
- A positive attitude and enthusiastic contributor to the team.
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- £25,000 - £30,000 - depending on experience
