CNC Vertical Borer Job Overview
- Set, operate and program CNC Vertical Boring / Lathe machines
- Program using Fanuc controls and Cimco CAD/CAM
- Work from engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Machine medium to heavy workpieces
- Self-inspect completed components
- Work with materials including aluminium, stainless steel and super-duplex
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Work overtime when required
CNC Vertical Borer Requirements
- Proven CNC Vertical Borer / Vertical Lathe experience
- Strong setting, operating and programming experience
- Fanuc control experience
- Experience with Cimco or similar CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with medium/heavy engineering components
- Strong quality and self-inspection skills
- Experience working with a range of materials
