The company specialises in delivering high-quality flat roofing, pitched roofing and cladding solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and residential developments. With an established reputation for quality and repeat business, they are seeking an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career within estimating and pre-construction. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some construction experience or a relevant qualification who is looking to develop their estimating skills within a supportive and experienced team. Full training and mentoring will be provided. The successful candidate will support the preparation of tenders and quotations, review drawings and specifications, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and assist in producing accurate cost estimates for a variety of roofing projects. Job Requirements Some previous experience within construction, estimating, or a related discipline is advantageous * Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or similar beneficial * Interest in roofing, cladding or specialist construction sectors * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel * Excellent communication and organisational abilities * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop * Full UK driving licence preferred * Looking to build a long-term career within estimating and pre-constructionSalary & Benefits Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE) * Permanent, full-time position * Office-based role with occasional site visits as required * Full training and mentoring from experienced estimators * Opportunity to work on a broad range of roofing and cladding projects * Long-term career progression into Estimator and Senior Estimator positions * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Further benefits to be discussed at interview stage Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing tenders, estimates and quotations for roofing and cladding projects * Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation * Produce material take-offs and quantify labour requirements * Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations * Support senior estimators with pricing exercises and tender submissions * Maintain accurate estimating records and project documentation * Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and clients throughout the tender process * Assist with site visits and pre-construction meetings where required * Develop a strong understanding of roofing systems, materials and installation methodsBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
