We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Chichester. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Procurement, you will play a part in managing a set of suppliers, maintain an accurate order book, and ensure materials arrive on time to support smooth production.
Job Overview
- Manage relationships with allocated suppliers and maintain accurate order information
- Chase suppliers for order acknowledgements and confirm delivery dates
- Keep Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updated with accurate delivery information
- Proactively monitor the order book and identify potential supply risks
- Resolve supplier and internal issues, escalating where required
- Communicate order delays clearly to relevant internal teams
- Handle quotation requests for new orders within allocated supplier categories
- Relay quality control concerns to suppliers where required
Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system would be desirable
- Previous exposure to purchasing, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with suppliers and colleagues
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
Salary & Benefits
- £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (upon permanent employment)
