We are seeking an experienced Gear Grinder to join its manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves operating and setting gear grinding machinery to produce precision-engineered components to exact specifications and high-quality standards.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a gear grinding environment and be confident working from engineering drawings while maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the production process. Job Overview- Set and operate gear grinding machinery
- Manufacture precision components to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues
- Maintain accurate production records where required
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Work efficiently to production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow company health & safety and quality procedures at all times
- Work independently and as part of the wider production team
- Previous experience as a Gear Grinder is essential
- Strong understanding of precision engineering and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
