Job Overview
- Deliver planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support for specialist vacuum degassing and drying systems, gas sampling units, and nuclear monitoring equipment.
- Diagnose and fault‐find across electrical, control & instrumentation (EC&I), mechanical, and vacuum systems.
- Carry out UK‐wide field service activities, with approximately six separate weeks of travel per year, scheduled and spread across the calendar.
- Support internal engineering activities, including system commissioning, build support, and factory/system testing.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Produce clear service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Job Requirements
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to apply and develop hands‐on engineering skills across varied environments (training provided).
- Proven electrical, control, and instrumentation knowledge with practical experience.
- Experience working with vacuum or gas systems, including compressors, instrumentation, and pressure motivations.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
