Graduate Design Engineer required. My client is a specialist engineering company based in the Bristol area who due to continued growth are now seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join their team.

Our client is focused on providing an exemplary service to their customers and creating a culture where employees have the opportunity to grow, learn and develop new skills.

The successful Graduate Design Engineer will be given technical training but expected to have an academic understanding of technical drawings, Solidworks component lists and specification writing. It would also be seen as an advantage to have experience or knowledge of the building services industry.

Position Overview

Reporting to one of the Directors and working alongside the contracts team, you will be responsible for designing various systems, sheet metal enclosures and making fan/filter selection. Responsible for production of design calculations, sketch drawings, and system schematics. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver design ideas alongside the production and technical teams. Produce cost proposals for clients. See projects through from initial conception to installation, commissioning and hand over to the client.

Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified within an Engineering orientated subject
  • Experience/Proficiency with AutoCAD/Solidworks
  • Based within a commutable distance of Bristol
  • Full UK Driving License
Remuneration

Starting salary £27,000. Monday - Friday, full-time, permanent position. 28 Days Holiday, (including Bank Holidays) Pension Onsite parking.
