Test Engineer required for a switchgear provider based in Selby. Currently seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time on-site capacity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day product testing at our facility in Sherburn in Elmet (in between Leeds / York). The position requires strong electrical engineering expertise.
Test Engineer Overview- Product Testing:
- Low Voltage Switchgear and Low Voltage solutions
- Medium Voltage Switchgear and Medium Voltage solutions
- External purchased equipment
- Bespoke complete building services solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in Electrical Testing
- Ability to plan and execute projects from initiation to completion
- Proficient in electrical principles and practices
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Previous experience in the switchboard or power distribution industry is preferred
- Minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Salary = £15.00 to £18.00 per Hour
- 39 Hours + is Time & Half
- Weekends is Double Time
- Bonus
