Our client, an award-winning architectural practice with over 50 years of experience and multiple studios across the UK, is seeking a Senior Architect to join their growing Leicester team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Job Runner, capable of taking ownership of projects from day one with minimal supervision.
The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio including residential developments for national housebuilders, care homes, large-scale recladding schemes and bespoke residential projects.
Due to the nature of the workload, applicants must have proven project-running experience and be confident leading projects through the technical and construction stages.
The practice places a strong emphasis on collaboration, staff development and flexibility, with hybrid working, genuine progression opportunities and an excellent pipeline of secured work.
Revit is the primary BIM software used across the business, making previous Revit experience highly desirable.
However, candidates with exceptional project-running experience within the residential sector who have used alternative software are still encouraged to apply.

- Senior Architect Overview
- Lead architectural projects from technical design through to completion
- Take ownership of projects with minimal supervision, acting as the primary Job Runner
- Deliver projects across residential developments, care homes, recladding and bespoke residential schemes
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information using Revit
- Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits
- Resolve technical and construction issues as projects progress
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team whilst managing project programmes and deliverables

- 5 years' experience leading architectural projects as a Job Runner
- Proven ability to independently manage projects through technical and construction stages
- Strong Residential project experience is essential
- Experience within care homes, recladding or commercial projects would be advantageous
- Proficient in Revit is highly desirable
- Candidates with strong Residential experience using Auto CAD or alternative software will also be considered
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong technical detailing and knowledge of UK Building Regulations
