Welder / Pipe Fitter required for a well-established manufacturer based in Bishops Stortford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of process pipework and skid assemblies.
Position Overview- Stainless Steel manual and orbital TIG welding of process pipework for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
- Fabrication and assembly of process pipework and associated components (i.e. valves, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.).
- Writing and maintaining weld logs.
- Fabrication and welding of stainless steel framework and brackets.
- Cutting, grinding, drilling of stainless steel components.
- Review process diagrams.
- Read / interpret production drawings in order to lay out a welding project, fabricate and weld.
- Confident with manual TIG welding.
- Competent with the use of hand tools and powered tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering, fabrication and process drawings.
- Based in a commutable distance of Bishops Stortford.
