Fire and Security Engineer required, to carry out a range of work including installations, servicing and repairs on intruder alarms, door access and fire alarms across the West Midlands region.
Job Overview
- Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of fire alarm, intruder alarm and door access systems across the West Midlands.
- Working in a variety of sites, such as offices, government buildings, schools etc.
- Ensure all installations comply with contract specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining strong customer communication and professionalism.
Job Requirements
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
- 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Fire alarm system training.
- Manufacturer training, specifically Gent / Hanwha.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary - £35,000 to £39,500 depending on experience.
- Working hours 8am - 4:30pm.
- Call out rota, after 3 months - 1 in 3 weeks (£180 standby payment for the week, x1.5 pay for all out of hours calls).
