Our client, a well-established, multi-disciplinary Consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK, is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join their growing Architectural team based in Billericay. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Part II Architectural Assistant looking to gain exposure to a diverse range of projects while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Architects and Technologists on projects across a variety of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Residential, Public Sector and Commercial, with clear opportunities for professional development towards Part III qualification. The practice operates across multiple UK offices and offers fully integrated Architectural, Engineering, Building Surveying and Project Management services, allowing employees to work on projects from concept through to completion.

- Assist with the development of projects from concept through to detailed design.
- Produce planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Support Project Architects across all RIBA Work Stages.
- Prepare technical drawing packages for tender and construction.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Attend design meetings and site meetings.
- Carry out measured building surveys.
- Assist with contract administration and construction phase activities.
- Produce technical specifications where required.
- Coordinate information with internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Support the delivery of projects across Education, Healthcare, Residential, Public Sector and Commercial sectors.
- Assist with project coordination and day-to-day project running under supervision.
- Ensure high-quality technical documentation throughout project delivery.
- Masters in Architecture
- Good working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong technical drawing and detailing abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning processes desirable.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain security clearance where projects require it.
- Full UK Driving Licence advantageous.
