A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a highly established and experienced Metal Supplier in Atherstone as they hire for a Finance Manager to join their dedicated team. This company prides itself on being dynamic and fast-moving and has established a strong reputation within the automotive sector.
The finance manager will be leading the business across their P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, assisted by 2 members of staff. This is a crucial role to the dynamic and success of the company. Finance Manager Job Responsibilities- Lead financially across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Manage the Finance department including a small number of staff
- Own month-end processes and oversee balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
- Analyse and review departmental Profit & Loss accounts to monitor financial performance
- Provide Weekly Financial Performance Reports for Senior Management
- Monitor Stock Transactions and assist with part-by-part analysis
- Oversee debtor and creditor management, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and improving working capital
- Liaise with our Invoice Finance Company regarding funding and providing monthly reconciliations
- Manage external audits and be the main contact for statutory HMRC reporting from our Sage Line 100 system
- Lead and develop the accounts team to drive high performance and accuracy
- Coordinate the weekly payroll process with various departments within the business
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in a senior finance role, ideally within the manufacturing sector (but not essential)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Technically proficient in Sage (or similar systems) and highly confident in Excel
- Salary dependent on experience
- Hybrid working
