Our client, who operates within the Civil and Structural Engineering sector, is looking to appoint an Associate Director of Structural Engineering to lead their growing team based in Oxfordshire. The role will suit a technically strong and commercially minded individual with a proven background in project delivery, client management, and team leadership within a structural consultancy environment. You will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects from concept through to completion, managing client relationships, and playing a key role in developing the Cambridge office, particularly across the science, research, and commercial sectors.

- Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
- Manage design, documentation, and project delivery to ensure compliance, quality, and deadlines are achieved.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction.
- Provide technical leadership and input on complex design matters.
- Review and sign off the work of engineers and technicians, ensuring accuracy.
- Build and maintain new and existing client relationships to support business growth.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through Chartership and technical development.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in structural design and project delivery.
- Strong background working within a consultancy environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in software such as Tekla, Tedds, and familiar with Revit/BIM processes.
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and Building Regulations.
- Experience with BIM methodologies.
