Overview
A dynamic and forward-thinking top 100 accountancy practice is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Tax Advisory Manager or Manager to join their Walthamstow office. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a technically strong team with ambitious growth plans and a wide-ranging client base.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of advisory projects from planning to completion
- Draft technical advice letters and detailed tax reports
- Provide proactive tax planning for clients across various sectors
- Liaise with clients to manage advisory deliverables and build strong relationships
- Respond to complex HMRC enquiries with appropriate technical guidance
- Mentor and assist with training tax team members
- Collaborate with the manager, group and partners to contribute to departmental development and growth
Qualifications
- CTA qualified (or equivalent/QBE with strong tax background)
- Broad and deep technical knowledge in either corporate, personal, IHT/trust, and international tax
- Proven ability to manage multiple advisory projects simultaneously
- High-quality written communication, with the ability to articulate technical tax concepts clearly
- Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing confidence
- Excellent IT proficiency, including MS Word and Excel
Salary & Benefits
- 55,000 – 65,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + bank and Christmas shutdown
- Life cover (x3 salary)
