We are currently recruiting for an Architect to join an award winning, multi-disciplinary Consultancy based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect to join and develop a career within a talented, growing practice.
The role will involve leading a small team while working across RIBA work stages on various projects within residential, leisure and education sectors including technical design for cladding replacement projects. The practice is looking for an Architect that has experience in at least one of these sectors with a keen interest in the others. They mainly use AutoCAD, but also Revit and Sketchup occasionally so experience with these software would be highly advantageous. It is essential that the successful Architect has Job Running skills as well as proficiency with AutoCAD.
Position Overview- Talking through with clients all the different elements of each project
- Ability to develop high quality designs from the feasibility stage through to planning applications, with a developed understanding of plan efficiencies, cost limitations, and statutory constraints
- Producing tender packages and using these to produce high quality designs
- Producing construction drawings and detailing
- Producing Planning applications and tender packages
- Job running
- Use AutoCAD on a daily basis and Revit occasionally
- Further duties to be discussed at interview stage
- Relevant Degree Qualified; Minimum 2 years professional experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Revit & Sketchup conversant beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Living in or around the London area
- Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Salary: Up to £40K - £53k (DOE)
