Air Conditioning Engineer / Chiller Engineer required. Our client specializes in the service & maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & chiller units throughout the U.K, with multiple offices around the country. Our client is looking for an air conditioning engineer / chiller engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

The air conditioning engineer will be expected to service & maintain a variety of air conditioning systems such as VRV’s, VRF’s and splits etc. and would ideally have experience carrying out servicing works on Water Chillers and air-cooled chillers. Sites will vary, including data centres, healthcare sites and educational sites.

The air conditioning engineer / chiller engineer must hold their F-Gas cat 1 as a minimum with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration. It would be highly advantageous for the engineer to hold some form of electrical qualifications.

Position Requirements

  • Experience carrying out servicing and repair on air conditioning and AHU’s
  • Experience servicing Water Chiller units, highly advantageous
  • Based within commutable distance to the Reading area
  • Full Driving Licence
  • F-gas Cat 1

Remuneration

  • Basic Salary of 35,000 to 52,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Company Vehicle provided – Optional personal use of Van.
  • 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays
  • 40 hour working week – plus travel paid, after 30mins each way
  • Overtime paid at additional rates – 1.5 & 2x
  • On call rota 1 in 10 weeks.
