Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of representing a well-established, award-winning, multi-disciplinary practice local to Thetford, who are seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their ever-growing team. Our client is built up of multiple specialists, who provide a variety of services including Arboriculture, Ecology, Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist to work directly with an extensive and diverse portfolio of clients whilst managing and mentoring a team. This team specializes in the retention and incorporation of greener and more natural Green Infrastructure into residential development but also carries out consultancy services for all sectors including commercial, leisure, local government, and Infrastructure / Utility projects.

The successful Ecologist will be involved in all aspects of projects both small and large scale. Our client has a diverse portfolio of projects across predominantly strategic and detailed residential schemes. You will be working closely alongside the Director, on a wide variety of projects giving you a great foundation of knowledge to build your experience and professional career on.

Ecologist Job Requirements
  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Ecology, Biological Sciences or similar
  • Minimum of 1 Protected Species licence
  • Full driver's licence
  • People management experience
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships
  • Live within a commutable distance of Thetford
