We are now looking for an experienced and driven Sales Valuer to join our high-performing Edgware team and play a key role in winning new business and driving listings.
Role Overview:
As a Sales Valuer, you will be the face of Benjamin Stevens for prospective vendors, conducting market appraisals, providing expert valuations, and converting leads into instructions. You’ll combine your strong local knowledge with excellent sales skills to grow our market share and build lasting client relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated sales professional with proven valuation experience looking to progress their career with an ambitious and supportive agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Valuations & Instructions:

  • Conduct accurate and well-researched market appraisals for residential properties.
  • Deliver persuasive valuation presentations to win instructions at the best possible fees.
  • Advise clients on market conditions, pricing strategies, and preparing their property for sale.
  • Follow up promptly with potential vendors to convert valuations into new instructions.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with homeowners, positioning Benjamin Stevens as the agent of choice.
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendors during the early stages of the sales journey.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regular communication with clients.
Business Development:
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, canvassing, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new instructions.
  • Represent Benjamin Stevens at local events and community activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor local market activity and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Sales Negotiators and branch management to ensure smooth handover of new instructions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members with valuation techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to help drive office performance and achieve team targets.
Administration & Compliance:
  • Ensure all valuations, instructions, and related paperwork comply with AML, GDPR, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of valuations, instructions, and client communications in the CRM system.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in residential property valuations and winning instructions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets for new listings and instructions.
  • Strong local market knowledge and the ability to price properties accurately and competitively.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with the confidence to win business.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and major property portals.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (company vehicle may be provided).
