Summary: The Communications Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the annual communications plan to our target end-users across a range of touch points. This role involves working with agency partners and our US colleagues to ensure alignment to our global brand communications strategy as well as local UK business goals. The role includes content development, media strategy and planning, community engagement management, and e-commerce optimisation. The Communications Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams within the UK and US businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director and external agencies to develop annual paid media, PR, search and social media strategies and lead the execution and day-to-day implementation of all related marketing plans.
- Partner with agencies and creative team to develop optimised print, digital and social content for deployment across paid, organic and retailer channels.
- Lead content and user experience development for website to deliver brand experience, store footfall and e-commerce goals.
- Work closely with agency partners to deliver influencer marketing initiatives.
- Lead social media community management activities.
- Manage marketing budgets and track KPIs across all initiatives.
- Lead end-user market research programmes as required.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
- Support the wider marketing team with marketing and business planning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years' work experience in Marketing, specifically with experience in communications, business, digital marketing, e-commerce, or related field.
- Bachelors degree preferred, or relevant industry business experience.
- Strong attention to detail in all tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellence in execution, and delivering projects on time and within scope of budget.
- Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting both within the marketing function, within the company, and with external agencies and customers.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment while managing projects to a timeline.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong written, presentation and oral communication skills across various levels of the business.
- Passion for continuous learning, tracking KPIs and understanding customer insights to inform planning and execution.
- Demonstrated flexibility for changing priorities while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Ability to travel, as needed, to visit retailers and end-users, attend events, including evenings and weekends throughout the UK. Travel is approximately 10%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
