Responsibilities

  • Operate filling lines efficiently, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality and output standards
  • Carry out size changes and line setup adjustments to support different production runs
  • Maintainhigh standardsof housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Adhereto all health and safety procedures, contributing to a safe workplace culture
  • Operate material handling equipment, including stacker trucks, whererequired
  • Perform picking and packing duties accurately to meet order and dispatch requirements
  • Complete quality control checks, including QC sign-off against Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Conduct pass-off checks for products (e. g., paint) to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Report near misses and support continuous improvement in safety practices
  • Complete T-card boardtasks and ensure all production paperwork is accurately filled out andmaintainedto standard

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of production processes and experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, with paint filling line experience desirable but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using initiative to complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining productivity and quality standards at all times.
  • Commitment to quality, takingownership of work and ensuring all products and processes meet site quality requirements.
  • Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of production duties, including picking, packing, and supporting operational requirements as needed.
  • Ability to package products accurately and efficiently, ensuring production targets and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience accurately completing production documentation and reporting any issues, defects, or concerns to supervisorsin a timely manner.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures, with a commitment to following site policies andmaintaininga safe working environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn new processes, develop skills, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
