We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to support a major project. You’ll be part of a well-established Health & Safety team, providing essential administrative and coordination support to ensure compliance, reporting accuracy, and smooth day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop a career within Health & Safety in a structured, fast-paced operational environment.
The Role: This is a key support position, helping the H&S team maintain high standards across a long-term programme of works. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining health & safety documentation and records
- Supporting accident and incident reporting processes
- Collating and tracking audit and inspection findings
- Monitoring training records and competency matrices
- Assisting with preparation of reports and safety statistics
- Supporting document control for policies, procedures, and Safe Systems of Work
- Coordinating meetings, briefings, and communications
- Ensuring compliance documentation is up to date and accessible
About You: We are looking for someone organised, proactive, and detail-oriented who enjoys working in a structured environment.
Essential:
- Previous administrative experience (ideally within construction, rail, engineering, or compliance environments)
- Strong organisational and document control skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience supporting a Health & Safety team
- Knowledge of compliance documentation or audit processes
- Experience in fast-paced operational or project environments
