Benjamin Grace Limited are recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Manager for a 12-month contract role. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of electrical and lighting services across Scotland’s national road infrastructure. This hybrid role is based in Glasgow with an expectation of 2 days per week in the office, and the rest remote working. Key Responsibilities: * Provide subject matter expertise and critical oversight on electrical and lighting issues across national infrastructure projects. * Develop and implement future strategy for LED renewals and Lighting Central Management Systems (CMS). * Serve as technical lead for electrical best practice, standards, and policy development. * Lead on energy management and reporting, including supplier engagement and cost reduction measures. * Support the delivery and performance monitoring of contractor-led works within investment programmes. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: * Member of a relevant professional engineering body. * Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Engineering Council is preferred but not essential. Experience: * Proven background in electrical/lighting delivery within a roads or transport infrastructure environment. * Knowledge of public sector electricity markets and multiple energy supply types. * Experience working with a range of senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. * Strong background in contract and performance management within a regulated environment.
