We are keen to recruit and train a motivated, enthusiastic, and committed Quantity Surveyor to join our busy multi-disciplinary specialist teams. If you want to be part of an organisation delivering high-value infrastructure projects, this could be the role for you.

About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work within our busy engineering department in Manchester.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly accounting, costing, contract, management, and financial information
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on bills of quantities, specifications, and contractual implications of ongoing and new projects
  • Liaising with clients regarding costs, variations, and minor works opportunities
  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with tender enquiries, responses, and determining the company’s charging structures

About You:

  • Proven Senior Quantity Surveyor experience (rail experience is a bonus, but we welcome candidates from civils, highways, utilities, or wider construction backgrounds)
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Construction
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious, with a desire to develop both personally and professionally
