We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Design Engineer – RF / Telecoms to join a major rail telecommunications programme. This is a senior technical opportunity working across a complex programme involving Network Rail, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), specialist suppliers and design teams. The role will focus on RF design, technical assurance and design review, supporting the development and approval of designs and helping to resolve complex technical issues across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities * Provide senior technical input across RF and telecommunications design. * Review and assure detailed designs, strategies, guidelines and technical documentation. * Work with Network Rail, MNOs, suppliers and design teams to resolve technical issues and progress designs. * Provide technical input into RSD, IDC and IDR governance and approval processes. * Support MNO approvals and Telecoms Clearance. * Develop solutions for complex or blocked sites and provide technical recommendations. * Support technical change, design development and scope management. About You We are looking for an experienced RF / Telecommunications Design Engineer with a strong technical design and assurance background. Ideally, you will have experience of: * RF / telecommunications design within rail, tunnels or complex infrastructure. * Working with MNOs and Network Rail. * Design assurance, technical governance and approval processes. * Tunnel telecommunications, RF coverage or DAS. * RSD, IDC and IDR processes.
