We are currently recruiting for a Construction Assurance specialist who has previous experience in Heavy Civils Construction projects within a rail environment. The primary responsibilities of the Construction Assurance Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough inspections, documentation, and monitoring of construction activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Assessing workmanship and material quality against project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Maintaining detailed quality records in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Supporting on-site testing procedures to validate completed works.
  • Identifying and addressing construction defects, including issuance and close-out of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in line with company procedures.
  • Collaborating with the Construction Assurance team to review and witness ITPs and related documentation.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of quality forms and checklists.
  • Working closely with project teams to identify areas for process improvement and ensure production efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Liaising with design teams and client representatives to address project quality requirements.
  • Promoting and enforcing health and safety protocols on-site.
  • Monitoring construction progress to help ensure project timelines were met.
