An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent to lead the delivery of highway development schemes.
This role offers the chance to manage multi-site projects that will make a lasting impact on local communities.
You will initially be office-based, transitioning to full site-based responsibilities when construction commences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site teams and oversee day-to-day construction activities.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of projects to programme and budget.
- Support pre-construction activities, including drafting CPPs, CEMPs, and permit applications.
- Manage risks, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with commercial teams to control costs and manage contract changes.
Requirements
- SMSTS certification.
- Degree, HNC, HND in Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience as Sub Agent, Site Agent, or Senior Site Agent in civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of CDM requirements and pre-construction documentation.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Desirable: experience in highways, Local Authority projects, or managing multiple concurrent sites.
