Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a driven and motivated Management Accountant to join an established and growing company who are recognised leaders in their field. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the company's continued growth by delivering accurate financial analysis, driving cost efficiencies, and partnering with operational teams to optimise performance.

The role of the Management Accountant:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts with detailed cost analysis and variance reporting
  • Support operational teams with product costings, bill of materials (BOMs), and pricing strategies
  • Develop and maintain standard costing models, identifying and addressing variances
  • Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts, providing financial analysis to support operational decisions
  • Monitor and report key financial metrics, including overhead recovery rates, efficiency variances, and margins
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency

The ideal candidate for the role of Management Accountant:

  • CIMA Qualified / Part Qualified / Qualified by experience with good manufacturing experience will also be considered
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting
  • Proficient in ERP systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both financial and operational teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
