Management Accountant in Grantham

Management Accountant - Grantham/Hybrid - Circa £45k Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a Management Accountant for a successful and growing business based in Grantham. This is a broad, hands-on role offering much more than simply producing the monthly numbers. Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of management reporting and cash flow forecasting while partnering with teams across the business to provide meaningful financial insight. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys getting behind the numbers, improving processes and having a genuine commercial impact. This opportunity would suit an experienced Management Accountant, Senior Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Company Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller looking for a broad, commercially focused role. What’s on offer to the Management Accountant Hybrid working – 3 days office / 2 days from home 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service Staff discount Cycle to work scheme The role of the Management Accountant Producing accurate monthly management accounts and supporting group reporting Managing cash flow forecasting, working capital and weekly payment planning Providing insightful variance analysis and management reporting Partnering with budget holders to understand performance and challenge where appropriate Supporting budgeting and forecasting Preparing VAT returns and maintaining balance sheet controls and the fixed asset register Supporting statutory accounts and the annual audit Overseeing elements of Accounts Payable and supporting junior members of the finance team Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and the month-end close Supporting wider finance projects and systems improvements The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified/finalist, although strong QBE candidates with the right experience will also be considered Solid experience of producing management accounts alongside strong Excel and analytical skills Experience of cash flow forecasting, working capital management and business partnering would be particularly valuable Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to turn financial information into clear, practical insight Experience within a fast-paced commercial environment and Sage 200 experience would be preferred To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Benjamin Edwards, please do not hesitate to apply
