Job purpose

To fulfil the professional responsibilities of anassistant headteacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and ConditionsDocument

The assistant headteacher will support theheadteacher and deputy headteacher in:

• Providing professional leadership and management ofthe school
• Leading the strategic development of inclusion andsafeguarding across the school
• Implementing strategies for school improvement witha particular focus on inclusion, SEND, behaviour, and wellbeing
• Ensuring effective and efficient organisation andadministration of inclusion-related provision
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulatinglearning environment where all pupils can thrive

• Ensuring the curriculum is broad, balanced, andinclusive, underpinned by the Trust's principles of curriculum design
