Role overview
This is an initial six‑month contract for a Delivery Coordinator. The role is customer‑facing and focuses on planning, tracking, and communication rather than hands‑on delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as a customer‑facing point of contact for delivery coordination
- Coordinate delivery activity across internal teams to support planning, prioritisation, and tracking
- Maintain up‑to‑date views of scope, priorities, risks, and issues for internal and customer discussions
- Prepare and share regular customer updates covering progress, upcoming work, risks, and dependencies
- Prepare and share internal updates on delivery status, capacity, and key blockers
- Track actions and follow‑ups from meetings, ensuring agreed work progresses
- Proactively identify coordination issues or delivery risks and escalate them early
- Provide additional delivery coordination support to priority customers or initiatives, as capacity allows
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast‑moving, customer‑facing delivery, coordination, or operational role
- Confidence communicating with customers about progress, priorities, risks, and next steps
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple actions, dependencies, and stakeholders
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise customer environments
- Experience using Jira or similar delivery tracking tools
- Experience working within Kanban or Scrum‑based delivery environments
- Experience supporting delivery across multiple teams or workstreams
- Familiarity with customer status reporting, RAID logs, or operational dashboards
